San Bernardino hospital seeks help identifying male patient

Hospital managers are asking for help identifying a man who was found at an Arco gas station in San Bernardino late last month.The patient was transported to St. Bernardine Medical Center on the afternoon of May 26. He had no documentation or evidence of his identity, a spokesperson told KTLA on Thursday.The hospital did not release his medical condition.The man is believed to be around 66 years old, five-foot-six, and weighs approximately 150 pounds. (KRON) -- Murder charges were filed against a man who, according to police, shot a husband and wife outside their Antioch home. The 39-year-old woman was shot in the head and died at the scene on May 25. "The victims and the suspect knew each other, and this homicide is likely domestic violence in nature. Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit developed information that the suspect was in a domestic relationship with the 39-year-old victim," investigators wrote. The Antioch Police Department identified the suspect as 46-year-old Brian Yacopetti. Detectives learned that Yacopetti traveled to the victims' home on Delta Fair Boulevard and an altercation broke out. "During that altercation, the suspect fired several shots at a 43- year-old male resident, striking him twice. Afterwards, the suspect turned the gun on the female victim and shot her in the head," APD wrote. The killer fled from the scene and evaded law enforcement. (KRON) -- A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred more than a year ago, the Palo Alto Police Department said. A young child was allegedly present when the robbery happened. The robbery happened at about 6:30 p.m. on April 15, 2022, after the victim, a man in his 30s, had just parked in the driveway of his home on the 900 block of Bryant Street. Police said he opened the car's rear door to get his young relative out before the suspect vehicle approached. A passenger got out of the suspect car, pointed a pistol at the victim, and demanded his watch, per PAPD. The suspect vehicle's driver remained in the car with a gun trained on the victim. (KRON) -- A man has been reported missing, the Gilroy Police Department (GPD) announced Thursday afternoon. Darren Johnson, 59, was last seen last Monday, May 29. Video shows attempted break-in using unknown device at San Jose hotel room Johnson was reported missing by a family member but is homeless, according to GPD. He had been staying in the area of Burchell Road and Hecker Pass.He is described as a white man, approximately 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.
