Firefighters battled a fast-moving blaze that raced through a multi-family home in Somerville on Saturday.As he watched his home on Walker Street go up in flames, one of the tenants told 7NEWS, “I’m freaked out, my whole life is in that apartment … I’m glad everybody got out.”Emergency crews could be seen giving oxygen to a cat that was pulled from the building. The Miami Dolphins are bringing in a new pass rusher in former Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Malik Reed, his agent announced and a source confirmed to the South Florida Sun Sentinel.Reed is reunited with new Dolphins defensive coordinator Vic Fangio in Miami. Reed played his first three NFL seasons in Denver, coinciding with Fangio’s head coaching tenure with the Broncos. He also rejoins former Broncos edge defender Bradley Chubb, who was traded to the Dolphins last season.An undrafted player out of Nevada in 2019, Reed first developed to start eight games that rookie season. Between the 2020 and 2021 seasons with the Broncos, he made 13 starts apiece and combined for 96 tackles, 13 sacks and three forced fumbles. For the second straight start, Grayson Rodriguez looked like a major league-caliber starter the first time through the order before struggling the second time through.Rodriguez, the Orioles’ top pitching prospect and a candidate for the starting rotation, allowed a two-run homer in the third inning and then unraveled in the fourth in a Grapefruit League game against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday. The Toronto St. Patrick’s Parade is set to take over a portion of the downtown core on Sunday, culminating a weekend celebration of all things Irish.The parade is set to begin at noon at the corner of St. George and Bloor Street West and will proceed east before heading down Yonge Street then along Queen Street, ending at Nathan Phillips Square about an hour and a half later. MONTREAL — Fire officials now say at least seven people are missing after a blaze destroyed a building in Montreal’s historic district Thursday.Investigators initially said one person was believed to be missing in the fire that also injured another nine people.“The information confirmed in the last few hours, from various sources, allows us to believe that there may be victims inside the debris,” Montreal fire operations chief Martin Guilbault said Saturday. AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Watershed Protection said it is sending spill investigators back out to Shoal Creek after being made aware that cleanup crews missed hundreds of dead fish at nearby dam.Earlier this week, viewers sent pictures of the creek to KXAN, which showed the blank eyes of dead fish staring up from cloudy, green water.AWP said the dead fish and unusual appearance of the water were caused by a major water leak that spilled drinking water and chlorine into Shoal Creek. Austin creek turns green and it’s not for St. Patrick’s Day Originally, AWP said crews found only 30 fish to have been killed by the leak but later changed that estimation to be more than 300.
