EAGAN, Minn. (AP) — Justin Jefferson jogged onto the sun-soaked practice field, proceeding to jump in the air with a karate kick of his left leg as he approached his teammates.Absent all spring on his own offseason training and business agenda, Jefferson’s salient presence was a natural highlight for the Minnesota Vikings as they convened for minicamp.“You can just tell when he’s walking the halls in our building, just the energy and the juice that he brings,” coach Kevin O’Connell said Tuesday. “He was in great shape, moving around today like I expected him to be, mentally still really sharp.”Jefferson, an unanimous All-Pro pick for 2022 who has two years remaining on his rookie contract, has entered the window for what will likely be an extraordinarily expensive extension with his 4,825 yards and 324 receptions that are the most in NFL history over a player’s first three seasons. The Louisiana native has been working out in the Miami area during the voluntary port...'It just went south real quick': Witnesses detail LoDo shooting after Nuggets win

It was all just really instant," Winter said. Nikola Jokic is by far the lowest draft pick to win finals MVP Luis Arguelles, who said he was just feet from where the shooting happened, said when he heard the gunshots he ducked and waited until there was no longer a threat. “It was pop, pop, pop, pop, and I was like, that changed the whole mood real quick," Arguelles said. NEWTON – A rematch of the 2022 Division 1 girls tennis state championship is officially on for 2023.Defending champion Lexington defeated top-seeded Boston Latin 3-2 to clinch a chance at a repeat, while runner-up Lincoln-Sudbury topped second-seeded Acton-Boxboro 4-1 to earn a shot at redemption.A big difference between this season and last is where the teams were in the power rankings. The Warriors and Minutewomen entered the final last season as the top two seeds, respectively. This year they were third and fifth. Warriors coach Jason Walsh said that helped his squad have some extra motivation.“It’s kind of exciting because we are not the top two teams,” Walsh said. “I like the bracket busters that happen in these tournaments.”Both teams needed to flip a loss from the regular season to reach this point, and for Lexington, the focus was on doubles play. In the team’s 3-2 loss to Wolfpack on May 24, they won first and second doubles, but lost the remaining matches. SANTO DOMINGO, Philippines (AP) — Truckloads of villagers on Tuesday fled Philippine communities close to the erupting Mayon Volcano, traumatized by the sight of red-hot lava flowing down its crater and fearful of sporadic blasts of ash.Nearly 15,000 people have left the mostly poor farming communities within a 6-kilometer (3.7-mile) radius of Mayon’s crater in northeastern Albay province in forced evacuations since volcanic activity spiked last week. Albay’s governor extended the danger zone by a kilometer (more than half a mile) on Monday and asked thousands of residents to be ready to move anytime. But many opted to flee from the expanded danger zone even before the mandatory evacuation order.“There’s lava and ashfall already,” Fidela Banzuela, 61, said from a navy truck where she, her daughter, grandchildren and neighbors clambered up after leaving their home in San Fernando village close to Mayon. “If the volcano explodes, we won’t see anything because it would be so...Biden celebrates Juneteenth, the newest federal holiday, at the White House
