A person is accused of putting a cat in a duffle bag and leaving it by a garbage can on Sherman Street, near the intersection of Henry Johnson BLVD. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - A relic from the past was discovered in Lincoln Park last week while excavating the Beaver Creek Clean River project. A blue glass ginger ale bottle from the 19th century was found fully intact, leading to questions about its origins.While excavating the Beaver Creek Clean River project, the Albany Water Department and WM J Keller & Sons discovered a Cuddy and Mullen ginger ale blue glass bottle marked Albany, New York. It was uncovered when they first unearthed the existing Beaver Creek pipe built in the 1870’s. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man was arrested on Tuesday after he was pulled over and was driving an alleged stolen car. Tariq Royal, 32, faces multiple charges. ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Rotterdam woman was arrested on Sunday on multiple drug charges after being pulled over in Rotterdam. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man pleaded not guilty to a four-count indictment that accuses him of attempted murder. Houston Ketter III, 40, is accused of setting a victim on fire in an attempt to kill them in November 2022 in the area of Bradford and Robin Streets in the city of Albany. He's also accused of attempting to cause serious physical injury to a second victim on a different date.The indictment includes one count of Attempted Murder in the First Degree, one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, and two counts of Assault in the First Degree.
