QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Hudson Falls woman was arrested for grand larceny in the fourth degree. According to New York State Police, Lesley L. Dumas allegedly used the card on July 19 at the Walmart on Quaker Ridge Boulevard. With the assistance of the Walmart Lost Prevention staff, police identified Dumas as the suspect.Dumas was arrested at her residence. Kirby King pled guilty to manslaughter and felonious restraint in June. FARMINGTON, Mo. -- A man was killed while attempting to walk across US 67 in Farmington Saturday night. Tommy Shafer, 50, was hit by a SUV and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.A crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says that Shafer was crossing US 67 at around 9 p.m. on the ramp from Missouri 221. A special tribunal has issued an unprecedented public censure of former Colorado Supreme Court Chief Justice Nathan “Ben” Coats for violating the state’s judicial code of conduct when he allowed a $2.75 million contract with a former top courts administrator.The censure is largely ceremonial, carrying no penalty. Xcel Energy was at least partly to blame for the length of the Marshall fire investigation and the amount of time the community spent waiting for answers, the Boulder County sheriff said.Sheriff Curtis Johnson, a leading official in the months-long investigation into the origin of the Marshall fire, told the Daily Camera the energy utility was slow to respond to requests for key information.
