MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. - Nick Sanderson has embraced the St. Louis music scene for years, and he's even worked with local bands to create original music. But one big assignment he recently earned in front of tens of thousands is unlike anything he's ever done.Sanderson had the opportunity to sing Nickelback's hit song "Rockstar" with the band during their visit to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre last week. HAZELWOOD, Mo. - Popular fast food chain Captain D's announced Wednesday that its third express model nationwide and first in the St. Louis metropolitan area is now open for business. The new Captain D's, located at 8001 Lindbergh Boulevard in Hazelwood, vows to be a fast seafood restaurant experience. It consists of a double drive-thru, which a spokesperson says has improved service times by up to a minute and a half and increased the number of cars that pass through each day by up to 35%. Lil Tay, the young YouTube star and rapper, has passed away. According to reports online, she was just 14 years old. The family of Tay, whose real name is Claire Hope, issued a statement about her passing in a post on Instagram on Wednesday morning. It appears her brother has died as well.
