CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man is charged with a hit-and-run that injured four people on the city's Northwest Side last September.Renato Salazar, 29, faces four felony counts of attempted first-degree murder and four felony counts of leaving the scene of an accident.The incident happened September 10 in the 6500 block of West Fullerton Avenue. Police said four people were struck by a black colored Tahoe following a verbal argument in a restaurant parking lot. State Police announced that Cynthia Mecca, 62, of Amsterdam, NY, surrendered herself on April 29, and she was processed by New York State Police. On December 15, 2022, troopers received a complaint that funds were missing from the bank account of an elderly Montgomery County resident. ST. LOUIS -- Two men are facing murder charges after a fatal shooting in the Central West End Wednesday afternoon. Syntrell Howard, 21, and Ta'Shaun Patterson, 22, were placed under arrest after running from police Wednesday. A 24-year-old Littleton man has been arrested following the death of a Colorado model who fell from high in a New York Times Square hotel this week after a fight, police confirmed Friday morning.Tyler Griffin has been charged with assault, reckless endangerment, and acting in a manner injurious to a child, New York Police Department Detective Arlene Muniz said.An 8-month-old daughter rescued at the OYO Times Square Hotel, 157 W. 47th St., has been placed in protective custody.The woman — identified online as Dezirae Andersen — fell from high at the hotel and landed on second-story scaffolding, police said.The police received a 911 call at 10:27 p.m. Tuesday of an assault in progress in the hotel, Muniz said.
