LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska tight ends coach Bob Wager resigned Friday after being cited for suspicion of drunken driving.According to Lincoln police records, Wager was stopped Wednesday and cited for driving with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 or higher, refusal of a preliminary breath test, refusal of chemical test and having an open container.“Earlier this week I received a citation for a driving offense that I regret immensely,” Wager said in a statement released by the university. “I am grateful for the opportunity extended to me, and sincerely sorry for any negativity my poor decision has brought to my family, our team, our staff, and all those that I have disappointed.”First-year coach Matt Rhule elevated Josh Martin from special teams analyst to full-time tight ends coach. DENVER (KDVR) -- A struggle over political power is brewing in Aurora.A new proposal backed by current mayor Mike Coffman has cleared another hurdle to get on the November ballot. Some community members say the mayor and supporters were not up-front in their efforts to get support for the changes.The proposal would give Aurora a strong-mayor system. Authorities are searching for a 21-year-old man in connection with a deadly shooting in Waltham earlier this year, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.Josh Pierre, of Waltham, is wanted on a murder charge in connection with the May 22 shooting on Lyman Street that claimed the life of Shelson Jules. SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) — A man allegedly stabbed a woman to death in the San Francisco Bay Area on Wednesday and then posted a video of the slaying to Facebook, authorities said.The footage helped police track down the suspect, who was later identified as 39-year old Mark Mechikoff. He was arrested about 30 miles (48 kilometers) south of where the victim was found dead in a San Mateo apartment complex.“While the motive for stabbing the victim is still under investigation, we do know Mechikoff mercilessly filmed the last moments of the victim’s life and posted the video to Facebook, then fled the area,” San Mateo police said in a statement.Prosecutors identified the victim as Claribel Estrella.
